I relearned a very valuable lesson this past week. Water is essential. It keeps you hydrated, flushes out toxins, and gives you clearer skin. ;) I have tried to follow the old adage of drinking at least 8 cups a day but what I recently learned is that is not hard and fast rule. If you are traveling, drink more. If you eat salty foods, drink more. For me, 8 cups is a minimum and as I live in Texas where we have triple digit temps all summer, I need to keep water on hand, at my desk, and in my car.
